TakeTours.com was officially launched in 2011 as a spin-off from GotoBus.com. It was released as a dedicated website for a variety of tour services from 1-day city tours and attraction tickets, to multi-day guided bus tours including transportation, sightseeing, and hotel accommodation. In its early years, TakeTours significantly expanded its geographical reach by adding vacation packages in different countries and covering over 2,000 destinations. It also added other selection of products such as hotels, and show tickets.
