Helpful tips to consider when shopping for your next piece of motorcycle include: First, consider the type of motorcycle and how the luggage will attach to your bike. For example, a motorcycle top case will need a flat luggage rack for mounting and no pre-existing backrest installed on your bike. Seat bags will need space on the seat and a backrest or sissybar to attach to. Tank bags are more forgiving but you'll need to determine whether a strap mounting or magnetic mounting version is more appropriate. Second, what type of traveling do you do and what would you like to carry with you? For example, if you are a commuter who just needs to carry a few small items a tank bag might suffice.
